After announcing a new corporate name earlier this year, Hyster-Yale Inc has rolled out new corporate logos.
In April, Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc announced it was changing its corporate name to Hyster-Yale Inc, while its wholly owned operating subsidiary, Hyster-Yale Group, Inc., which designs, engineers, manufactures, sells and services Hyster and Yale forklifts and aftermarket parts became Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc.
Both name changes became effective at the close of business on May 31.
Parent company Hyster-Yale Inc says its new logo represents all its brands: Hyster; Yale; Maximal; Bolzoni; Auramo; Meyer; Nuvera Fuel Cells; and Sumitomo NACCO.
"The new logo unifies our identity and underscores our ongoing commitment to customers through our brand portfolio by creating an umbrella under which we will focus on delivering our promises of providing optimal solutions and exceptional customer care," says Rajiv Prasad, president and chief executive officer of Hyster-Yale Inc.
"We remain committed to delivering high-quality and innovative solutions across all our brands."
The rebrand also included a new logo for Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, which Prasad says is a visual representation of the company’s dedication to excellence and its promise to never let customers down.
"The soft shape and modern aesthetics of the logo embrace the essence and passion comprised in our vision, values and strategy and serves as a visual reminder of our collective strength and shared commitment," he says.
In April, the company said the name changes reflected its current structure, after Hyster-Yale Materials Handling was spun off from NACCO Industries as an independent public company in 2012.
At that time, the company sold lift trucks and related parts and services.
Since then, the company has evolved into three distinct, but interrelated businesses, forklifts, Bolzoni and Nuvera.
