Inside Forkliftaction
Happy Financial New Year to those whose fiscal calendar rolled over this week.
For many, there's little time for reflection as enterprises face the ongoing challenges presented by the global coronavirus pandemic.
Last year held so much promise, with many revenue and profit records smashed in the early part. But the glory days were short-lived and now almost all the forecasts have been recast downwards.
But, on the positive side, we still see strong pockets of demand in many markets - and we also note ongoing product development and new model roll-outs.
Materials handling will prevail - through effort, talent and innovation, rather than luck. Nonetheless, best wishes to all for the business year ahead.
