Vetter produces its longest fork to dateVetter Forks, the German-headquartered fork arm manufacturer, has released its longest forks to date with a blade length of 5.2m, breaking its previous record set in June at 5m.
The new forks have a load capacity of 45T with a load centre of 2.5M. The back height is 3.5m and the cross-section is 350mm X 150mm.
“These forks are among the largest ever manufactured by Vetter and are ideal for the most demanding requirements,” the company states.
“The giants were accompanied by their large sister forks, which also have impressive dimensions: a blade length round about 3,000 mm and a back height of over 3,000 mm.”
In June Vetter showcased its largest forks at the time, known as BigForks, which had been built for a Danish customer working in the wind industry.
