CeMAT Asia was part of the Industrial Fair NetworkThe four-day Industrial Fair Network (IFN) 2025, encompassing nine specialised trade shows, has been completed in Shanghai and was well attended.
Held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, the exhibition spanned almost 240,000 sqm, with more than 3,400 domestic and international exhibitors and attracting more than 150,000 visitors, which included a 41.2% increase in the number of overseas attendees.
This event saw nine shows held in tandem, including CeMAT Asia, ComVac Asia for the compressor sector, PTC Asia for electrical and mechanical power transmission, APEX (electronics manufacturing), E-pack Tech (technology), FBC (Factory Network Business), ISA (automation), Freight Vehicle and Cold Xpo.
Gary Liu, managing director with organiser Hannover Milano Fairs China, says of the IFN event: “Through building a collaborative ecosystem platform that connects the entire intelligent manufacturing industrial chain, we hope to bring together globally advanced technologies and solutions”.
“To vigorously drive high-quality, high-end, intelligent and green development of the manufacturing sector, while fostering deep integration and innovative synergy across upstream and downstream industrial chains,” he continues.
While the PTC Asia event was the largest of the nine shows, covering 110,000 sqm with 1,800 exhibitors, CeMAT Asia was the second largest across 80,000 sqm and attracting more than 900 exhibitors.
“Throughout the event, innovation was on full display and new product launches appeared continuously,” organisers state.
“The booths showcased cutting-edge technologies designed for diverse scenarios, the latest advancements in automation and intelligent systems, and flexible, high-efficiency product portfolios.
“Bolstered by their profound technical expertise, these companies collectively provided robust support for the advancement of smart logistics.
“The demonstration and promising application prospects of these frontier technologies resonated deeply with industry players, fostering synergistic development across the sector.”
The Industrial Network Fair will be held in November in 2026.
