The four-day CeMAT Asia 2023 convention has successfully wrapped up, with more than 800 exhibitors showcasing their products at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
CeMAT Asia was held after a two-year hiatus, running concurrently with several other industry exhibitions, which together formed Hannover Messe’s Industrial Fair Network 2023.
The combined event included 3,200 exhibitors in an exhibition area of more than 230,000 sqm and attracted a record 150,000 trade visits worldwide.
About 150,000 visitors attended CeMAT Asia and its exhibitors, which presented materials handling products ranging from robots, forklifts, accessories and system integrations and solutions.
Chinese forklift and warehouse equipment maker Hangcha had nearly 50 products on display at its CeMAT Asia stand.
"Our group has participated in CeMAT ASIA more than 10 times, and this year's exhibition has reached a record high in terms of scale and popularity,” says Chen Saimin, assistant to the general manager and secretary of the Hangcha board of directors.
Dematic China managing director Sun Chao says his company’s exhibit received a great deal of attention and inquiries from new and existing customers.
One of the new products unveiled at the event was the Matrix 8, a high-density storage and sorting integration platform produced by Megvii Automation and Robotics in collaboration with CoEvolution Technology.
