Cat Lift Trucks has launched its new ECQ Series of electric forklifts with capacities between 4,000 lbs (1,814kg) to 8,000lbs (3,629kg).

The EC20Q-EC40Q series cushion tyre forklift has a lift height of 26 ft. (8m), can move at speeds of 12.3 m/ph and is powered by either a 36V or 48V lead-acid or lithium-ion battery.

Other features include an advanced drive system with no brushes or commutator, hydraulic and electric (optional) power steering and passive sway control which automatically senses load weights and mast movement when lifting above 12.5 ft. (3.8m).

Curve control means the forklift automatically senses light weight, steer angle and speed, adjusting the speed according to operating conditions.

Lift control allows for automatic sensing of load weight and mast height and automatically limits travel speed to 1.8m/ph when the forks are above 6ft (1.8m) and adjusts the lifting and lowering acceleration to reach top hydraulic speeds without bouncing the load.

It is suitable for freezer conditions, features electronic back-up smart alarm and foot direction control, and has an optional two drive-in racks for different applications.

“This isn't just an electric forklift,” Cat states. “It's a revolutionary machine built to handle more and cost businesses less.

“By engineering it with advanced 48V lithium-ion power, we’ve created a truck that delivers the high performance of an internal combustion (IC) truck with all the uptime, efficiency, and intelligence you expect from electric.”

Words of support …

I know I can count on them. They give valuable suggestions on the campaign planning, and to publish content is as easy as abc, as they take care of the material layout and check links. This is a great support.
