Towlift Inc. has been appointed as the authorised dealer for Cat Lift Trucks, Mitsubishi Forklifts and Jungheinrich warehouse equipment in the nine-county Pittsburgh region, effective September 1, 2016. The representation becomes exclusive on January 1, 2017.

"Everyone at Towlift is excited about our expansion into the Pittsburgh market," says Matt Adams, president of Towlift. "We are committed to bring to the Pittsburgh business community the very best in materials handling products and services," he adds.

As part of the expansion, Towlift has promoted two key people: Ryan Harmon and Jamie Feathers.

Harmon has been elevated to general manager for the new Towlift-Pittsburgh operation. He brings over 11 years of experience in materials handling, with an emphasis on forklift equipment, warehouse racking and industrial sales experience.

Feathers has been named product support manager for the new Towlift-Pittsburgh operation. He has worked in both the automotive and materials handling industries and spent the last five years at Towlift's Columbus branch service department, most recently as service supervisor.

Towlift will operate out of a temporary location in Ambridge, PA, with plans to build a new facility in the future.

The new Pittsburgh location will cover the counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Washington and Westmoreland, Pennsylvania.

Towlift is a third-generation family-owned materials handling dealership founded in 1965. It has locations in Cleveland, Mentor, Columbus and Toledo, Ohio.
