A NexSys battery fitted to Raymond equipment

Raymond has begun offering the EnerSys NexSys battery and charger system as an option for select orders of its walkie pallet and stacker trucks.

"Many of our customers require a reliable, low-maintenance battery and charger system with a long life expectancy," says Sue Rice, product manager of pallet trucks and stackers at Raymond. "The NexSys is a superior option for battery and charging operations, and when used in tandem with Raymond lift trucks, it provides performance and value."

The battery and charger system features a high-frequency charger and sealed thin-plate technology batteries which do not require service and offer ideal performance in opportunity-charging environments. NexSys can fully recharge in three hours - much quicker than the eight-hour cycle for conventional battery and charger systems.

"NexSys offers added durability and longevity to help facility and operation managers take their productivity to the next level," says Chad Uplinger, general manager of specialty markets for EnerSys.

The battery system, sold through Raymond sales and service centers, is available fully installed as well as ready to integrate into existing systems and forklifts.
