EnerSys joins Logisnext parts program

Reading, PA, United States

EnerSys, a supplier of stored energy solutions for industrial applications, has partnered with Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas to expand the battery options available to materials handling professionals.

By joining the Logisnext Promatch parts program, Enersys has made it possible for Logisnext customers to choose between both Hawker and Enersys traditional lead-acid batteries, as well as advanced maintenance-free thin plate pure lead (TPPL) batteries.

In addition to batteries, the partnership also includes energy-efficient, high-frequency chargers and intuitive battery management devices from both brands to monitor and manage equipment power usage and help maximise battery service life.

“Whether an operation is running Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks, Cat Lift Trucks, or forklifts from Jungheinrich or Unicarriers, the addition of Enersys and Hawker into the Promatch parts program gives Logisnext customers even more choices in power solutions and support,” says Ben Ruela, OEM general manager for motive power at EnerSys.

A Square Forklift has become a Still distributor

German-based intralogistics provider Still has named A Square Forklift as its sole South African distributor.

Beyond Still’s traditional internal combustion and electric counterbalance forklifts, the arrangement will also cover products from its range of warehousing trucks, including tow tractors, power pallet trucks, pallet stackers, order pickers, reach trucks and very narrow aisle (VNA) trucks.

It will involve forklifts powered by lead acid and lithium-ion batteries, as well as those powered by hybrid technologies and hydrogen fuel cells.

Founded in 1998 as a forklift rental business, A Square Forklift was acquired by Bidvest in 2022.

Apart from Still, the company is also a South African distributor for Japanese forklift manufacturer, Nichiyu, as well as Combilift Aislemaster, Bravi Platform Trucks and RCM Industrial Floor Cleaning Equipment.
