In modern industrial and logistics operations, vehicle-mounted terminals (VMTs), or forklift computers, serve as the critical interface between operators and core systems like WMS (warehouse management systems) and ERP (enterprise resource planning). 

As facilities modernise, selecting the right VMT isn’t only about hardware performance—it’s about ensuring secure, resilient, next-generation wireless connectivity.

Traditional wi-fi has powered warehouses and factories for years, but its security limitations, short range, and interference vulnerability are now accelerating a rapid shift toward private 5G and LTE (long-term evolution).
