Automation is a key theme in the stories we have in this week’s Forkliftaction News.

We report on South Korea’s digital transformation provider, SK AX completing the automation process at the factory of a US auto parts manufacturer using AMRs and unmanned forklifts.

The company responsible for the technology has warned automation is not only helping to improve productivity, but is also set to “fundamentally change the cost structure and supply chain management method throughout factory operation”.

We also look at a number of product launches including Dematic’s new autonomous reach truck series, MLA’s new BXCQ Series of electric forklifts, Hyster’s expanded XTLG line-up including a 7T forklift and Linde’s robotic case picker as well as an Indian company receiving an order from a US customer for its new autonomous forklift.
