Snorkel launches new product line
New Orleans, LA, United StatesA telehandler was among the new products launched by Snorkel at The Rental Show 2015 held in New Orleans last week.
The Snorkel SR5919 is the first model of the brand-new line of rough-terrain telescopic handlers, which highlights the company's entry into the telehandler product line.
Snorkel also unveiled its new family of electric slab scissor lifts, which are now available to order in North America. In addition, Snorkel showcased the first in a new line of mid-size telescopic boom lifts. The Snorkel 660SJ is a 66 ft. rough-terrain telescopic boom lift that includes a 6.5 ft. (1.9 m) jib.
New compact telehandler at Paris show
Waterloo, BelgiumSIMA 2015, which was held in Paris, France last week, provided the launch platform for the Bobcat TL358+, a telescopic loader specially designed for agricultural applications and heavy-duty farm jobs. The main attribute of the new TL358+ AGRI model is its "versatility, with three different machine dimensions offering compactness and top performance".
The TL358+ is powered by a 100 hp Deutz engine and can handle a 3 T load up to 5.8 m (19 ft.). It is equipped with a fully automatic hydrostatic transmission allowing it to reach a top speed of 40 km/h (25 mph.). The machine is available as standard with 20 in. (51 cm) tyres, but can also be equipped with 24 in. (60 cm) tyres for better ground clearance and traction. It is 2.1 m (6.9 ft.) in height and 2.1 m (6.9 ft.) wide.
