EP Equipment has launched its X4 Series electric forklift featuring what it describes as an “innovative manual-swap battery pack” which the company says allows for quick and tool-free battery swaps, reducing downtime.

The latest offering from the Hangzhou-based materials handling equipment and solutions provider, the X4 Series has a 3 T. load capacity and a 6 m lift height. 

It comes standard with an 80V lithium battery complemented by a smart battery management system (BMS) and is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous (PMS) motor.

The X4 Series also features light-weight, transportable module battery packs which can be changed on-site. It comes with six swappable battery packs, divided into two sets of three, with operation possible on just three batteries, allowing for charging of half the system at any one time.

A plug-and-play charging solution is also available.

The X4 forklift includes an ergonomically designed cabin and wide mast visibility and is completed by LED front lights, a wider brake pedal and large LED display.
