Tim Peltola from Suomen Konetalo OyBobcat expands Finnish authorised dealer range

Finnish materials handling equipment dealer Suomen Konetalo Oy, has been named as the new authorised dealer for Bobcat’s Compact Equipment range in Finland.
Suomen Konetalo Oy already carries Bobcat’s materials handling suite of products and will now sell its compact equipment including the Bobcat R-Series telehandler range for the agricultural and construction sectors.
Timo Peltola, CEO of Suomen Konetalo Oy, says: “With this agreement, Suomen Konetalo Oy will continue to be a full-service Bobcat dealer, and we can support our new and existing customers with a wider range of high-quality products”.
“Most of the new product categories we have added through Bobcat compact equipment are already familiar to us and we have sold and serviced these products before,” Peltola adds. “But there are also machines that are new to us in the Bobcat product range, and we are very excited about the opportunities this brings!”
Founded in 2011, Suomen Konetalo Oy is headquartered in Oul and has five other branches across Finland at Kokkola, Varkaus, Ylöjärvi, Riihimäki and Lieto, allowing it to service the whole of Finland. It also carries the Heli and Crown range of products.
Sydney terminal orders 10 AutoStrad machines

Patrick Terminals orders 14 hybrid AutoStrad machines
Australian transportation and logistics business Patrick Terminals, has ordered 14 hybrid automated straddle carriers from Kalmar for its Sydney AutoStrad terminal.
The order for the Kalmar AutoStrad machines was booked in Q3 2025 and is scheduled for completion in Q4 2026. The new AutoStrads join 10 hybrid units ordered by Patrick Terminals in October 2020.

RoyPow starts production in Indonesia

Chinese lithium-ion battery systems developer RoyPow, has started production at its new Indonesian manufacturing facility in Batam.
RoyPow says production starting at the site marks a “significant milestone” in its plans to develop international markets.
The Indonesian facility has an annual capacity of 2GWh, enabling large-scale production “to meet the growing regional and global demand for premium battery and motive system solutions”.
Jesse Zou, RoyPow chairman, adds: “The completion of Indonesia factory represents a major step in our global expansion. As a strategic hub, it will enhance our capabilities to deliver innovative energy solutions and excellent services to global partners.”
