Briggs Equipment will have access to Maximal-branded forklifts

Maxim GB has struck an agreement with Maximal Forklift for the importation and supply of forklifts in the UK.

Recently acquired by Briggs Equipment, Maxim GB and Neckar Forklifts will operate as a separate and distinct channel within the Briggs Group by distributing the Maximal product.

The agreement gives the business access to a broad range of competitively priced equipment from the Chinese forklift manufacturer, which is a Hyster-Yale subsidiary.

“This not only provides Maxim GB and Neckar Forklifts with an excellent product range for their customer base, but also expands the Briggs Group’s proposition into utility (forklifts) through this separate distribution channel,” says Briggs Equipment group managing director Peter Jones.

“We are also pleased to further expand our relationship with Hyster-Yale Group, our long-standing partner.”

Maxim GB managing director Ian Capes says the broader range of product manufactured by Maximal will see the company provide a better solution to its customers.
