STILL's new gen order pickers

STILL GmbH has introduced a new generation of MX-X order pickers that it says is "more intelligent and offers full flexibility".
The trucks' OPTISAFE feature enables them to navigate on up to 255 programmable routes. An RFID system and transponders installed on the warehouse floor allow the truck to know its position and any obstacle it may face. If the warehouse's layout changes, the transponders can be reprogrammed and the new structure saved in the truck's controller.

Cat adds to pedestrian range

Cat Lift Trucks has upgraded its range of pedestrian pallet trucks with three new models.
The NPP16/18/20N2 models, with lift capacities of 1.6, 1.8 and 2 T, incorporate AC drive technology. They also feature the 'eco' mode that reduces travel speed to ensure smooth handling and lower energy consumption.
The new trucks have optional, large lift and lower levers to permit one-handed control. The U-shaped battery on previous models has been replaced with a standard battery to allow interchangeability with other brands.

New Yale series complies with legislation

Yale Europe Materials Handling has introduced a new generation of 8-16 T trucks that comply with Stage IIIA NRMM emissions legislation.
Yale Europe says the new series benefits from the advances introduced in the Veracitor VX series, especially in the powertrain and hydraulic configurations. The GDP80-120DC and GDP130-160EC heavy duty, engine forklift series "offer lower lifetime cost of ownership and greater productivity".
