Griffin

David Griffin has been appointed as managing director - sales at the Ireland-based container crane maker Liebherr Container Cranes.
Griffin has been promoted from the role of sales director which he has held since 2013. During that time, he was responsible for sales in Europe, USA, Canada, India, Australia and New Zealand. Earlier, Griffin served as regional sales manager for Liebherr Great Britain and Liebherr Africa.
Griffin's appointment follows the retirement of Pat O'Leary. After 41 years of service in various positions with Liebherr Container Cranes, Ireland, and with the Maritime Division of the Liebherr Group, O'Leary stepped down from the position of managing director of sales, Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. At the end of this year, he will also retire from the Board of Liebherr Maritime Division, which is based in Rostock, Germany.

Schroeder

The Caldwell Group has named Jay Schroeder as regional sales manager. He will oversee sales for RUD, Caldwell and Renfroe products in the eastern half of the US and Canada.
Schroeder, formerly sling team sales manager, has been at Caldwell since May 2018, following a move from RUD Chain Inc. Schroeder has been regional sales manager at RUD, having joined the company in 2009.
Schroeder will be responsible for the ongoing support of the sales rep force and end-users. He has been charged with finding new markets and growing current markets for the Caldwell portfolio.

Kittle

Brisbane, Qld, Australia
Focused on proactively supporting aerial equipment customers in Australia, countries in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region and China, Craig Kittle has accepted the position of Genie director of technical service for APAC and China. In this role, Kittle has responsibility for coordinating and actively managing the Genie brand's technical service, used equipment and product support operations for the region. Kittle supports the region from the Genie offices in Brisbane, Australia.
Prior to taking on this new role, Kittle served as the director of operations at the Terex manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA.

At its annual conference in Palm Springs, California, MHI appointed a number of new industry group chairs and vice chairs.
The new chair and vice chair terms will kick off with chair training in January 2020, followed by a strategic planning meeting, led by MHI's industry group staff.
