KION North America has expanded its Linde and Baoli new product sales into Western Ohio and Northern Kentucky through Kensar Equipment Company, which was acquired by Wolter Group in June. The acquisition provided infrastructure and support for aggressive growth, allowing the expansion of the KION lines.
Kensar Equipment is the authorised Linde, Baoli and Doosan forklift dealer for central Indiana. In October, the KION North America Linde and Baoli lift truck lines became available in nearby Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio markets, as well as Erlanger, Kentucky.
The Linde and Baoli lines of new equipment include electric pallet trucks, order pickers and reach trucks as well as gas and electric forklifts for warehouses, distribution centres and manufacturing plants of all sizes. To support new customers, Kensar Equipment also provides maintenance, repair and emergency service through a full-service shop and large network of field service technicians throughout the region.
"The success of Kensar Equipment in Indiana enables us to expand into Kentucky and Ohio," says Wolter Group president Jerry Weidmann. "We're committed to delivering quality products and services, priced competitively, making it even easier for warehouse, distribution centres, and manufacturers to improve their materials handling efficiencies, in turn reducing cost."
Wolter Group is a family-owned and -operated group of companies consisting of Wisconsin Lift Truck Corp., Illinois Material Handling, Kensar Equipment Company, Wolter Power Systems, Fleet Services and Ellis Systems. The group has more than 400 employees with an average service tenure of 14 years.
