TOC Europe 2025, the annual Terminal Operations Conference for the continent, has come to a close in Rotterdam with more than 4,500 attendees representing 100-plus countries.

Event organisers, Informa Markets, say 982 of the attendees at this year’s event were port and terminal executives with some 100 speakers delivering presentations.

Among the major themes to emerge from the June 17 to 19 event were the need for safety and sustainability across all aspects of operating a terminal or logistics operation.

There were also a number of product launches, including Konecranes’ E-Hybrid rubber-tyred gantry crane and empty electric container handler while PIC Swedish crane spreader and attachments manufacturer Elme Spreader AB unveiled its Vectrix crane spreader series.

It was not all serious business though with ZPMC adding some Chinese cultural touches with Hanfu (people dressed in the traditional attire of the Han Chinese people) and live traditional dance performances at its booth.

“A huge thank you from the entire TOC Team to everyone who joined us in Rotterdam this year,” organisers state.
“TOC Europe 2025 brought the global container supply chain community together for three powerful days of insight, innovation, and connection.

“With over 4,500 professionals in attendance, the event tackled everything from economic uncertainty to the technologies redefining how we move cargo. Conversations sparked ideas, ideas inspired action—and together, we helped shape the future of port and terminal operations.”

Holland-headquartered forklift and port equipment sales and service specialists Forkliftcenter on its LinkedIn page states the event was “an incredible three days”.

“It was great to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new clients and industry professionals from across the globe,” the company states on a LinkedIn Post.

“We truly enjoyed being part of such a forward-thinking and dynamic event, and we’re excited to keep the conversations going.”
