Cargotec launches new truck-mounted forklift

Cargotec has introduced the Hiab Moffett M10 25.3 truck-mounted forklift for loading from one side of a truck or trailer.
Equipped with a 50hp Kubota engine, Cargotec claims the forklift with telescopic boom produces less noise and vibration. It also has "excellent operator ergonomics" in that the driver compartment is spacious and offers 360° visibility.

Toyota enhances AC pallet trucks

Toyota Material Handling USA Inc has introduced enhancements for its AC pallet trucks that are used in distribution centres, retail operations and cold storage applications.
The product enhancements are designed to meet tough materials handling demands, Toyota says.
They include an ergonomic handle for increased control, a new AC traction controller and electric disc brake system, 12-inch diameter tyres and an optional steering bearing for cold storage and wet environments.

Zayani launches hybrid in Bahrain

Zayani Motors, Mitsubishi's exclusive dealer in Bahrain, will introduce a new range of hybrid forklifts in Bahrain.
The Mitsubishi hybrid forklifts, which are manufactured in Japan, were launched as the world's first 4.0-5.0 tonne hybrid forklifts at the Bauma exhibition in Munich, Germany last month (Forkliftaction.com News #432).
Zayani is also the exclusive dealer of FUSO Truck & Bus Corp, Eicher and Freightliner in Bahrain.

AUSA introduces new range
Barcelona, Spain
AUSA is launching a new range of semi-industrial forklifts from 1.5-5 tonne capacities with its FullGrip system. The FullGrip system enables the forklifts to use 4WD when required. Under normal conditions, the forklift operates in 2WD mode, reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
The operator can select the 4WD mode by pushing a button located in the joystick. The FullGrip system is currently available for the 4 and 5 tonne forklifts only.
