Hiab reports large US order

Swedish-headquartered forklift manufacturer Hiab has received orders valued at EUR19.5 million (USD20.29 million) for Moffett truck-mounted forklifts and Hiab cranes from two large US home improvement sector customers.

Hiab, a subsidiary of Cargotec Corporation, explains the orders were booked in Q4 2024 with delivery to start this year.

The truck-mounted forklifts ordered are part of the Moffett M8NX range with a lifting capacity of up to 3,500 kg. The M8NX is available with a wide range of options and attachments, including 4-way steering.

The loader cranes include four models from the heavy-duty range, with the majority being Hiab K-HiPro 425 models with remote control.

Bryan Rupert, business line director with Moffett Truck Mounted Forklifts, Hiab USA says of the deal: “We are happy to once again deliver on the needs of our long-standing partners in the home improvement segment in the US”.
