New Holland dealers display diverse line
Edinburgh, ScotlandNew Holland's new telehandler made its Agriscot 2014 debut in Edinburgh last week along with a diverse display of machines.
Visitors inspected the LM7.35 telehandler, part of the new five-model range which boasts "superior rigidity and enhanced front attachment performance". The machine is capable of a lift height of up to 9.1 m (29.9 ft.) and up to 4,200 kg (9,259 lb.) in lift capacity.
Local dealers Bryson Tractors, Agricar and Lothian Tractors were among the 250-plus trade stands at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, Edinburgh, last Wednesday.
Genie showcases telehandler
Snoqualmie Falls, WA, United StatesGenie unveiled its all-new 6,000 lb. (2,722 kg) capacity GTH-636 telehandler at an event in Snoqualmie Falls in Washington earlier this month.
With a maximum lifting height of 36 ft. (11 m) and a forward reach of 21 ft. 11 in. (6.7 m), the telehandler has a maximum lifting capacity of 6,000 lb. (2,722 kg) Its operating weight is 17,600 lb. (17,983 kg) and the telehandler provides an outside turning radius of 13 ft. 4 in. (4 m).
"The GTH-636 looks like the GTH-844, but we refined everything," says Chad Hislop, director of product development for Terex Aerial Work Platforms. "The only thing that's the same as the 844 is the cab. It operates exactly the same way, but everything else is different."
Doosan launches six new trucks
Northampton, United Kingdom Doosan Industrial Vehicle UK has launched six new warehouse products, with two more due to launch in 2015.
Five of the six new products are stackers, reflecting the growth in the pedestrian stacker market, with Doosan moving into new weight categories in response to growing demand.
The new LEDS 10C (1,000 kg / 2,205 lb. capacity) is the smallest stacker that Doosan produces, with the LEDS 14 (1,400 kg / 3,086 lb.) series being rolled out and the brand new LEDS 20 (2,000 kg / 4,409 lb.) debuting at the top end of the line-up.
The sixth new product is the 2.5 T hand pallet truck, which comes in six configurations including stainless steel, high lifter, low profile, and digital weigh scale versions.
In 2015, DIVUK will launch the LEDH 30 - a 3,000 kg (6,614 lb.) powered pallet truck - and the LEFD 12.5, a 1,250 kg (2,756 lb.) capacity stand-in stacker.
Hyster introduces tyre handling trucks
Greenville, NC, United States Hyster Company has introduced a series of tyre handling trucks for the mining, ports and intermodal industries.
In partnership with Greenfield Products, LLC and Iowa Mold Tooling Company, Hyster now offers 21 tyre handler configurations ranging from 5,000 to 36,000 lbs. (2,268 -16,329 kg) of handling capacity on the Hyster H120FT through to Hyster H700HDS trucks. The trucks can handle tyre diameters up to 164 in. (4.2 m), and are available in different integral models for dedicated tyre handling, as well as hang-on quick-connect options for flexible transition between forklift and tyre handler modes.
