Doosan Industrial Vehicle has begun production of the latest additions to its 7-Series range.

The new 18 T and 25 T models, previewed last year, represent the largest-ever capacity forklifts to roll off the manufacturing plant in South Korea.

The company has flagged further additions to the 7-Series next quarter.
These will include a brand new high-capacity category in the diesel truck range, fitted with the latest Doosan Euro Stage 4 DL08P engines - DV180S-7 and DV250S-7.

The Doosan 7.6 l six-cylinder diesel engines offer high power output and maximum torque and have been designed with the environment in mind, ensuring reduced emission levels without the need for a costly, outdated and maintenance-intensive diesel particulate filter (DPF).

The engines dramatically reduce maintenance downtime as well as setting a new benchmark for fuel consumption at a time of increasing costs for forklift users.

Doosan will be exhibiting these latest models at the IMHX exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham between 13th and 16th September.
