Fairchild breaks donation record
Menomonee Falls, WI, United States

Fairchild Equipment collected 3,476 lb. (1,580 kg) of donated items in a recent campaign to gather clothing and household goods for Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin. Bins were placed at designated businesses across Southeast Wisconsin from April 17- 28, and the businesses' employees were able to take advantage of the convenient access to drop off donations for Goodwill.
The Spring 2017 Donation Drive was the largest charitable campaign in the company history of Fairchild Equipment. With the success of the initial campaign, the project will become a regular campaign.
"This is a really great opportunity for Fairchild to be active in the community and support Goodwill, an organisation everyone can be proud of for their work in providing training and employment for job seekers and connecting individuals looking for work to area employers," says Ryan Ratzlaff, sales manager, Fairchild Equipment and Waukesha County Business Alliance Leadership Program Participant.

Jungheinrich honoured by Deutsche Post DHL
Bonn, Germany

Deutsche Post DHL Group has presented its 2017 Supplier Award in the sustainability category to Jungheinrich.
The key supplier for the world's leading logistics group was selected from among 90 applications submitted from around the world.
The Deutsche Post DHL Group Supplier Award was established in 2016 and aimed at intensifying cooperation with suppliers while measuring their contribution to Deutsche Post DHL Group's "Strategy 2020 - Focus, Connect, Grow" program.
Jungheinrich was recognised for an increasing proportion of recycled materials handling equipment used by companies throughout Europe. Resorting to secondary use of materials rather than new production reduces CO2 emissions by around 80% per unit of materials handling equipment. This approach makes a substantial contribution to meeting the group's sustainability targets.
