Sivemat adds Bobcat MH range

Bobcat’s authorised distributor for the Savoie and Haute-Savoie regions in the Alps of eastern France, Sivemat, has added the forklift and materials handling equipment range to its portfolio of available products.

Since its acquisition by the Vaudaux Group since 2019, Sivemet has been selling and renting Bobcat’s public works equipment to the region.

Sivement says the integration of Bobcat’s forklift and material handling equipment range is a strategic step.

Sivement president Christelle Vaudaux says: "For us, material handling is an additional key to meeting our customers' future needs”.

Fairchild Equipment donates forklift for birthday celebration

Wisconsin-based materials handling solutions provider Fairchild Equipment is celebrating its 40th anniversary and has celebrated by donating a refurbished Hyster S50 internal combustion, cushion tyre, forklift to local church Green Bay First for use at its food pantry.

“Green Bay First operates a food pantry that distributes over 350 bags of food each week and provides transportation for children and families to access meals, mentorship, and community resources,” Fairchild Equipment states. 

“Having previously borrowed forklifts from Fairchild Equipment to unload large food donations, the church identified an ongoing need for its own forklift.”

Fairchild found a suitable forklift, performed safety checks on it, replaced its forks and gave the unit a fresh coat of paint before it was ready to give away.

The forklift will be used to handle food donations.
