Fairchild collects for Goodwill
Menomonee Falls, WI, United States

Fairchild Equipment recently hosted its second donation drive in partnership with Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin. Fairchild collected 4,300 lb. (1,950 kg) of clothing and household goods.
"Giving back to the communities we serve is a huge priority for Fairchild Equipment," said Ryan Ratzlaff, Fairchild Equipment sales manager. "We believe in Goodwill and the many ways it serves to help people and better our communities. We are all very excited to be able to partner with our customers and local community businesses to help Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin."
This is Fairchild's second campaign in partnership with Goodwill Industries. "We're proud that this campaign has more than doubled in size since our initial launch last Spring," says Andrea Jorgensen, marketing coordinator for Fairchild Equipment. "Our previous partners have once again teamed up with us to make this a success and we can proudly announce that we've gained even more support within the Southeastern Wisconsin area."

Commissioner visits Florida Forklift
Tampa, Fl, United States

Florida commissioner Adam Putnam recently visited Florida Forklift to see the growing dealership which was cited last summer by Governor Scott for its expansion, job creation and general business conduct.
Putnam, current head of the State Agriculture Department and Consumer Services, is running as a candidate for Florida's governor.
According to Florida Forklift marketing manager Chris Morgan, having grown up as a farmer, Putnam is very familiar with heavy equipment and their industry.
"We discussed the Florida economy, infrastructure and our support for local law enforcement. The commissioner did say how impressive Florida Forklift was as a company for its thought-out expansion and saw the enormous value of our industry with the countless products which are moved by forklifts," says Morgan.
Florida Forklift is the largest dealer for the Illinois-produced UniCarriers forklift manufacturer and operates five locations in Tampa, Winter Haven, Orlando, Jacksonville and Fort Myers.

Hyundai nominated for Foreign Investment Trophy
Flanders, Belgium

Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe has been nominated for the Foreign Investment Trophy. This trophy celebrates the most outstanding foreign investment projects in Flanders. The reason for their nomination is the company's brand-new European multi-functional headquarters in Tessenderlo.
The citation notes Hyundai's new headquarters which will play a key part in the firm's long-term strategy of growing its international success. "Our choice of Flanders is a clear signal to the market: 'we're here and we're here to stay'," says Johan Thiels, director of Administration, Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe. "For me, this is only the beginning of our successful path to the future."
Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe has been active in Flanders since 1995. Its European distribution centre for construction equipment was first located in Geel. When continued growth rendered the site too small, Hyundai's management decided to move to a new location in Tessenderlo in 2014.

Forkliftaction's JOB MARKET

It’s the year 2000. You’re in front of a boxy beige desktop waiting for the screeching ramblings of your dial-up to reach its finale. You go to Yahoo!, MSN, or maybe AOL, and start the mind-numbing process of finding your very specific needle in the digital haystack. And with web pages loading one image at a time, patience isn’t just a virtue – it’s a requirement!

As clumsy as this early iteration seems now, this technology was the great enabler that allowed Forkliftaction to connect to the industry across the globe.
