Florida Forklift recently unveiled a Fire-Rescue Tribute Forklift at the Tampa Fire Department's Training Grounds.
"There is something to be said about the individual who runs into the face of danger," says Chris Morgan, Florida Forklift marketing director. "From the firehouse down the street from our Tampa corporate office to the firefighters in Redding, California fighting the forest fires, these brave men and women have our respect and appreciation."
Tampa fire chief Nick LoCicero says: "We value the relationships we have with our business community in Tampa and we are honoured whenever business show their appreciation for firefighters. Florida Forklift has done that in a unique way that captures the spirit of firefighting and the apparatus we use every day to keep everyone safe."
Founded in Tampa in 1974 as Tampa Forklift, Florida Forklift has grown to five Florida locations in Tampa, Winter Haven, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Fort Myers, and offers sales, parts and service for UniCarriers, Clark, Heli and Komatsu brands.

Safe + Sound week is a nationwide effort to raise awareness about the value of workplace safety and health programs. These programs, when successful, can proactively identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause injury or illness.

Doosan Bobcat EMEA will be out in force at the GaLaBau Exhibition

Doosan Bobcat EMEA will be showing its extensive range of Bobcat machinery and attachments aimed at the horticultural and landscaping industries on the company's booth at the GaLaBau Exhibition in Nuremberg in Germany from 12-15 September 2018.
A new high-performance, top-of-the-range Bobcat telescopic handler will have its world premiere at this year's GaLaBau. This brand-new machine will be on show in the outdoor demonstration area.
Bobcat will also be displaying its new R-Series compact excavators for the first time at GaLaBau. The five models in the new R-Series (E26, E27z, E27, E34 and E35z) were introduced recently at the Intermat show in Paris. The German public will get their first sight of the new 2-4 tonne machines at GaLaBau.
A Bobcat T590 compact track loader equipped with an FRC150ST forestry mulcher will also be in action.
Bobcat's S450 skid-steer loader will be exhibited with a landplane attachment.
