Datalogic SpA has appointed Jacopo Mazzolin as senior vice president and chief human resources officer and Paul August Maltseff as US chief intellectual property counsel. They took office on January 1 and 2 respectively.
With almost 20 years of international experience, Mazzolin has held various leadership roles in human resources, particularly at large multinational groups. He was head of human resources for the food packaging division of Crown Holdings Inc. His experience includes roles at Constellium (formerly Rio Tinto - Alcan EP), ITT Corporation, Whirlpool, Alcoa, and Telit Wireless Solutions. He will report directly to company chair and CEO Romano Volta.
Maltseff joins Datalogic from Intermec Technologies Corporation, where he was chief intellectual property counsel and previously chief technologist IP. He has more than 20 years' experience in managing IP in the automatic data capture market and a strong academic background. He has a degree in radio-electronic engineering, a PhD in military cybernetics, and is a doctor of technical science in applied cybernetics, a JD and a US patent attorney.
He will report to group general counsel Federica Lolli.

Van Clarkson has joined Fairchild Equipment's executive management team. He will grow and develop the forklift and construction equipment business segments. Clarkson was previously vice president of JCB North American dealer sales. Before joining JCB, he held senior management positions in finance, fleet management and dealer sales with Hyster, a division of Hyster-Yale Forklifts, based in Greenville, NC.

Joe Monahan has joined EnerSys to lead the Convert to ElectricSM (C2ESM) program for the west and south-west US area. According to EnerSys, the C2ESM program is the first and only dedicated program to help companies using internal combustion forklifts to convert to electric fleets. Monahan is based in Seattle. He joins EnerSys from a large forklift dealer, where he was a sales engineer providing battery and charger specifications for electric forklift customers.
