In the ever-evolving world of paper logistics, innovation is key. With decades of expertise and a strong focus on customer needs, BOLZONI GROUP introduces the new AURAMO 180-degree rotation AR-C Series paper roll clamp—an advanced solution designed to redefine efficiency, safety, and precision in roll handling.
AR-C paper roll clamp is easy and fast to use, requires less effort and has a smooth, slim design with superior visibility.
Efficiency, safety, and flexibility: the new Auramo AR-C Series paper roll clamp is designed to meet both current and future demands in paper logistics. With a modular design, the AR-C Series delivers top performance in every operational context—paper mills, ports, warehouses, and printing facilities.
The renewed 180-degree rotating clamp was officially presented at LogiMAT 2025, the international trade show for intralogistics in Stuttgart, Germany. Developed, engineered and manufactured in Finland, the AR-C Series is the successor to the previous AR Series, which it will gradually replace. The first models available include AR-38C, AR-40C, AR-45C, and AR-47C.
Top Performance: More Paper, Less Time
Thanks to its fast and precise 180° rotation with hydraulic cushioning, the AR-C Series enables smooth and rapid handling, reducing operational time and boosting productivity. Its slim design and superior visibility enhance the operator’s experience, reducing effort and increasing safety. The redesigned rotation unit, new symmetrical contact pads, and compact hydraulic connections further improve serviceability and performance.
Built-In Load Protection
Every detail is engineered to prevent roll damage: from optimized arm geometry to high-friction contact pads available in various types (rubber, steel-sprayed, polyurethane). The clamp can handle single or multiple rolls, both vertically and horizontally, with a wide range of openings and capacities to suit every need.
The contact pads are the only parts of the clamp which actually are in contact with the paper rolls.
All pads have a thin and smooth design with high-friction contact surfaces.
Here two full-length unsplit steel-sprayed pads.
Smart Technology and Full Customization
The optional “Electronics Ready Kit” includes electronic connection points and cable routing through the rotation unit, enabling the use of advanced features such as arm control, working lights, and a 90-degree rotation stop. The AR-C Series is also compatible with Auramo HTX, the new Automatic Clamp Force System, which helps operators apply the correct clamping force based on roll weight and hardness—minimizing the risk of out-of-roundness damage.
HTX - Automatic Clamping Pressure Control System
HTX is an electrically controlled, user-friendly system designed for paper roll manufacturers, logistics providers, and port operators. It allows seamless adjustment of clamping force, ensuring safe and efficient handling across diverse operational scenarios.
The well-proven AURAMO 180-degree rotating paper roll clamp just got even better now: discover the new optimized and even more service-friendly design with various modular driver assistance and support systems.
