Visitors attracted to ultra-compact handler
Tarmstedt, GermanyAUSA showcased its ultra-compact T 144 H Plus telehandler, D 85 AHG dumper and C 300 H 4WD off-road forklift at the Tarmstedter agricultural fair last month.
The rough-terrain forklift manufacturer, along with distributor Behrens und Lüneburger GmbH, showcased its products to more than 100,000 visitors.
AUSA says the Taurulift T 144 H Plus, which it boasts has the smallest dimensions in the market in its class, caught visitors' attention. The forklift is suitable for a wide array of terrain conditions and applications.
Linde boasts cleanest trucks
Aschaffenburg, GermanyLinde Material Handling claims its diesel trucks in the 2.5 to 3. 5 tonne segment have the lowest exhaust emissions in the market.
It makes the claims based on environmental performance evaluations the company uses to analyse and document its products' environmental impact over their entire life cycle. With its Linde H25 to H35 EVO diesel trucks, Linde MH says it is the only truck manufacturer to meet the stringent Stage IIIB of emissions directives 97/68/EC and 2004/26/EC for mobile equipment, which have applied to the 37 to 55-kW power class since January 2013.
Hyster launches high performance series
Greenville, NC, United StatesHyster's new J80-100XN electric forklift series being debuted in North America is available in 8,000, 9,000 and 10,000 pound (3,629, 4,082 and 4,536 kg) models.
The series offers "a tough, environmentally friendly option for applications traditionally powered by internal combustion engines" like lumber, stevedoring, heavy manufacturing and paper.
Jonathan Dawley, Hyster Distribution president, says: "This series is more proof from Hyster that you don't have to make excuses for electric trucks. It is possible to provide reliable and durable, yet intelligent and zero-emission electric forklifts that can hold their own among ICE trucks."
