Logitrans A/S has introduced the Twin Stacker, a double stacker to optimise space in lorries, shopping and storage areas. It can transport and stack two pallets simultaneously.
The double stacker combines the advantages of a pallet truck and stacker. The new equipment enables pallet trucks to operate on uneven floors and the stacker to lift goods. The capacity of the upper forks is 800 kg (1,764 lb.) and the lowest forks up to 1.8 T. The capacity in total does not exceed 1.8 T.

New line from Doosan
Doosan Industrial Vehicle has launched a new series of 1.5-3.0 T electric pallet trucks for the North American market.
The walkie type (2.0 T), rider type (3.0 T) and the walkie stacker (1.5 T) have waterproof electrics help resist moisture, dirt and corrosion.
A similar line for the European market will be launched in early 2013 and exhibited at IMHX in Birmingham.

Cat truck redefines standards

Cat Lift Trucks has introduced the NPV20N2, a new platform pallet truck that features a fold-down operator platform and folding sidebars. It is suitable for ride-on and pedestrian use.
Designed to carry loads and drivers between 20-50 m and for vehicle loading and unloading, the new truck is narrower than its predecessors. This adds to its manoeuvrability.
The 2 T truck incorporates the latest AC drive technology and has linked suspension castors for enhanced stability on any surface.
