TMHE launches new truck and SpotMe
Brussels, BelgiumToyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE) has launched the BT Reflex O-series RRE160R reach truck for indoor and outdoor applications.
The reach truck is based on the BT Reflex R-series model and incorporates the BT Reflex core values of "productivity, drivability, safety and durability".
"We are constantly looking for ways to improve our products and services and drive down our customers' expense in materials handling," says product management director Niclas Sternerup. "Our aim is to offer them the peace of mind they need to focus on their business."
The truck is available with a 1.6 T capacity and lifts up to 7.5 m (24.6 ft.).
TMHE has also introduced SpotMe, a warning system to prevent traffic-related accidents in warehouses. Built with infrared direction-sensitive sensors, the warning system detects the presence of forklifts and pedestrians at crossroads and alerts them. When a potential impact danger is spotted, a warning unit flashes. SpotMe was designed specifically to protect factory workers and merchandise.
