Linde Material Handling will replace its current range of electric forklifts with an “unprecedented” new 26-strong range of electric counterbalance trucks in three and four-wheel models.
The Linde Xi and Linde E range have capacities between 1T and 2T and come with integrated lithium-ion and trough batteries.
The Linde Xi range features 12 models offering “an extended range of applications”.
“An additional 14 variants upgrade the existing standard electric forklifts, the Linde E14 to E20, with load capacities of 1.4 to 2.0 tons and a trough battery,” Linde explains.
“Operators have the option to switch between lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries according to the plug-and-play principle or continue using existing batteries. Furthermore, the E-models have been designed to accommodate fuel cell technology.”
The Linde Xi10 and Xi20 models combine a 90-volt lithium-ion battery and synchronous reluctance motor for what it says is a “notable increase in efficiency”.
Linde says these models can reach up to 20km/h quickly and offers what the forklift manufacturer claims are “lifting and lowering speeds that are up to 20 percent higher than the average for competitor trucks”.
Linde adds additional headroom is standard in all of its electric forklifts and ergonomic design of the cabin.
Also standard in the new models is the Linde Load Assist system which automatically adjusts lifting and tilting functions according to the weight of the load.
Wireless data transmission between the forklift operator and cloud-based applications on a data-protected server, facilitates predictive maintenance and software updates over the air, while also allowing for integration with existing warehouse management systems.
