Detachable lifting system
Douglassville, PA, United StatesHoist manufacturer American Crane & Equipment Corp has introduced detachable vacuum systems and free-standing vacuum lifters that can lift heavy objects.
The AL-Vac vacuum lifters and manipulators can lift objects weighing from a few pounds to several tons. Vacuum lifters can be freestanding or attached to a forklift, and reduce the time spent loading boxes, pails, drums, material sheets, kegs, barrels, and drums to a pallet. The company claims using vacuum power can reduce work-related injuries.
