Report promises savings
Birmingham, United KingdomProteus Software and TouchStar Technologies have joined forces to offer warehouse and distribution centre operators a new reporting service that will allow energy efficiency savings of up to 25%.
"By analysing a company's warehouse operation, we can identify areas where efficiencies can be made," says TouchStar Technologies marketing executive Karen Taylor. "We will then deliver a full report on the potential productivity and energy efficiency gains that are possible."
Briggs offers one-stop-shop
Cannock, United KingdomBriggs Equipment is promising materials handling fleet managers a simpler supply chain with its new online store and catalogue.
The 'one-stop-shop' service has products ranging from loading docks and ramps to cleaning equipment and tyres from various brands.
Briggs Equipment sales director Bill Goodwin says the firm undertook thorough research to develop "a complete portfolio from the most reputable brands at the best prices".
The Briggs Store has an online ordering system and has over 30,000 supply chain solutions.

The award program was designed to reward the top Nissan forklift dealers throughout North America and, now under the UniCarriers Americas umbrella, continues to honour the top UniCarriers Americas dealers achieving the highest standards of sales excellence across the dealer network.
The Nissan dealer of excellence award winners for the fiscal year ended 31 March are Adobe Equipment Houston LLC of Houston, Texas; Capital Equipment & Handling Inc of Hartland, Wisconsin; CFE Equipment Corp of Norfolk, Virginia; Equipment Inc of Jackson, Mississippi; Forklift Systems Inc of Nashville, Tennessee; JM Equipment Co Inc of Manteca, California; JV Equipment Inc of Edinburg, Texas; Material Handling Supply Inc of Brooklawn, New Jersey; and Parkway Systems of San Antonio, Texas.
