Juha Pankakoski as chief digital officer, starting from 1 January 2015. He will be responsible for all information systems and the overall process architecture of Konecranes. He will also be responsible for the company's digitalisation strategy. Pankakoski will be a member of the Konecranes Group executive board and will report to Konecranes president and CEO Pekka Lundmark. He has worked at Konecranes since 2004 and is currently vice president, head of business unit parts. He has held several management positions in operations and business development at Konecranes. He succeeds Antti Koskelin, who has announced that he is leaving Konecranes as of 31 December 2014.

Rocester, United KingdomThe Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE) has elected JCB chairman
Lord Bamford as an Honorary Fellow of the organisation that champions the cause of engineering in Britain. The honour comes in the year that Lord Bamford celebrates 50 years' service at JCB and prepares to mark 40 years as chairman next year. Lord Bamford is the only Honorary Fellow elected to the RAE out of a total of 59 new Fellows. The newly elected Fellows join the Academy from diverse backgrounds, including leading engineering and manufacturing companies and world-leading academic institutions.
