Helsinki, FinlandMikko Puolakka has been appointed chief financial officer at
Cargotec, effective from 1 May 2016. He will be a member of the executive board and report to CEO Mika Vehviläinen.
Puolakka has previously held the positions of CFO at Outotec Oyj and CFO at Elcoteq SE, as well as several financial management positions in Elcoteq and in the Huhtamaki Group.
He will replace Eeva Sipilä, who will take up the position of CFO at Metso Corporation at the beginning of August.

UniCarriers Americas Corporation has appointed Anderson Silva as logistics coordinator and Rafael Nishino to coordinator of planning and purchases for its South American subsidiary, UniCarriers Corporation South America (UCSA).
Prior to joining UCSA, Silva worked for Fiat do Brasil S/A as a foreign trade leader. He also has past logistics experience coordinating import activities to ensure that foreign trade activities met the current legislation to support Doosan Infracore South America's heavy-construction machines division.
Silva has an MBA in foreign trade and international business.
Nishino acquired planning and purchasing experience while working for Hyundai Motors, Bombardier Recreational Products and Honda Motorcycle da Amazônia. Nishino earned a bachelor's degree in mechanics from Paulista University in São Paulo, Brazil. In addition to Portuguese, Nishino is fluent in English and Japanese.

Fork Lift Truck Association's (FLTA) technical committee.
Parker has 32 years of engineering experience and his training expertise and technical knowledge is amongst the most impressive in the UK forklift industry.
He was part of the four-strong team that initially set up the content and syllabus for the internal City and Guilds qualification for Fork Lift Truck Apprentices, which was honoured with the prestigious Beacon Award for Excellence by the Association of Colleges.
