New date for FLTA Awards
Berkshire, United KingdomThe Fork Lift Truck Association has announced the new date for its prestigious Awards for Excellence, which recognise the best and brightest in the materials handling sector.
As the longest-running event of its kind, the 26th FLTA Awards was due to take place in spring 2020 but was delayed due to the pandemic. It has been rescheduled to take place online on Saturday, 17 April 2021.
"We had great plans for our 2020 event but, like so many others, we sadly had to postpone," explains Tim Waples, director of the FLTA and chief executive of UKMHA.
"It is one of the biggest nights of the industry calendar and although the Awards will be online this year, we are making sure it will retain the unique blend of entertainment, fun and Oscars-style suspense for both the finalists and the audience."
Awards categories include: dealer of the year, apprentice of the year, supplier of the year, safe site, services to the industry, and lifetime achievement, as well as the pick of the year accolades for safety, innovation, ergonomics and the environment.
The 26th FLTA Awards for Excellence will be streamed exclusively to ticket holders on the night and will be made available online thereafter.
