Construction of the 10 acre manufacturing plant in Reliance MET City in Jhajjar, just outside Delhi, will begin later this year, with production expected to begin in September 2025.
Originally servicing India’s cement industry, Beumer India now offers solutions for the country’s airport industry, minerals and mining, for automated warehouses and distribution centres in the retail industry as well as in the areas of e-commerce and courier, express and parcel.
“This expansion reflects Beumer Group’s strategic focus and commitment to long-term success in India,” says company chief executive officer Rudolf Hausladen.
“The new production site plays an important part in our global factory footprint, strengthening our position as a quality leader and partner of choice for our customers.”
Reliance MET City says Beumer India joins more than 570 companies from 10 nations at the smart city.
