I appreciated your willingness to help out others posting in the forum so I decided I might post here and ask for your help.
I am trying to fix a Komatsu FB15EX-11 Forklift, 2003 Model.
I have been looking everywhere for a list of error codes but I can't come across a manual or a book or anything. I would also like to get my hands on a technical specifications, wiring diagrams etc. as much info as possible would be great.
My main issue is the Error "FAILURE IN CONT.(T) E17 CALL YOUR SERVICE!"
Also, is there a program available to install on a laptop to clear error codes?
Much appreciated.
P.S. I couldn't upload the photo of the error on the LCD screen.
I imagine once I fix this error I will have another so I'd like to work through them one at a time.

I am facing to trouble with my Forklift. FB15EX-11. It cannot turn on now. No lamp is indicated. I tried to find down and check everything but no abnormal was found. I think about some issue with main board. Could you guys share to me some documents such as diagram, service manual, troubleshoot...for this model?

Hey Mouayyad, error code 5 means that there is a problem with the power module (upper or lower one)

I'll check it out when I get back to work on it again. I appreciate all your help. The interesting thing is no error codes now but it wont drive at all, everything else checks out. I'll be testing the outputs from the power side of the inverter and swapping the foot switch with a potentiometer too see if I can get anything out of it.

There's no seat switch but there is a switch on the brake cylinder and hand brake.
I have plugged the Accelerator pedal back into the forklift and it starts up now with no errors. I still can't drive the fork. It will engage into forward and into reverse and the lights come on. But it won't drive.
Do you know if there is any safety interlocks such as a seat switch that may be preventing it from driving?

I have contacted Komatsu here in Melbourne and they have emailed me a scan of the troubleshooting page and like you said marc_b it mentioned E17 as "Travel accelerator output is defective", Vehicle can travel at 40% of maximum speed... I will check the wiring on the pedal and make sure to test it is working properly.
It won't drive at all at the moment but I'll trace the wires back and see if they are broken or not plugged in etc.

Hello Bicka, well I've tried also for a long time to get the shop manual of this model. I do have an electrical diagram of it, so if your in need I can send it. Normally E17 is a problem with the output of the accelerator so control it. As far as I know you can't connect a laptop on it but once the problem is solved the errors will be gone on the display.
