Texas-based Independent Rough Terrain Center (IRTC) has partnered with Helsinki-headquartered Kalmar to distribute and service IRTC’s Rough Terrain Container Handler.

The Rough Terrain Container Handler (RTCH) has a lift capacity of 25.45T, a lift height of 10.3m and a maximum reach of 6.27m.

It is equipped with a Cummins diesel engine, has two and four-wheel drive, boasts a 9.9m turning radius and can navigate a 27% incline while fully loaded.

The RTHC has been purpose-built to work in the most demanding of environments and to handle containers and cargo in areas without established infrastructure, such as in defence applications, mining and resource exploration.

The partnership between IRTC and Kalmar, will see the manufacturer of heavy-duty rough terrain material handling equipment, leverage Kalmar’s international network while expanding the product portfolio Kalmar can offer.

Stephen Speakes, president and CEO of IRTC, says the collaboration will provide the company with global reach.

Alf-Gunnar Karlgren, president, counter balanced with Kalmar adds: “This partnership allows us to better support operations in challenging logistics environments, from mining and oilfield projects to large-scale rural infrastructure”.

“Together with IRTC, we are expanding the boundaries of where reliable material handling is possible,” he continues.

Words of support …

I know I can count on them. They give valuable suggestions on the campaign planning, and to publish content is as easy as abc, as they take care of the material layout and check links. This is a great support.
