Started it up the other day and it goes in reverse in neutral and reverse gears and does nothing when in forward gear.
Any ideas?

Buy a different forklift.
Gcx is a p-o-s not worth fixing imo.

the tech is correct, you might as well call it a transmission rebuild.
Got it...I am both the owner and operator.
Fluids are all correct...no leaks
I had a tech look at it this morning and he says the clutch packs have swelled and need to be replaced?.

The tech this morning got it running in forward and reverse but it still goes backward in neutral and it still feels like a brake is dragging when going forward.
It is an inching pedal....it puts the transmission into neutral gear(hydraulically) and applies the brakes when applied....if it was sticking or whatnot then reverse wouldnt work either......sounds more like the clutch packs are worn or damaged for the forward gear....are tou the operator or the owner of the truck? How many hours on it? Full model and serial number? Fluid levels correct????
Rev works great...no hesitation from for to rev.
Asked about brake fluid because one of the brake pedals is a transmission "brake", right or no?
Could be low fluid....has it been checked???? If its "acting" like it wants to move then is possible there is a problem with the FWD clutch discs in the transmission....would need to do a pressure test of the transmission to confirm. If you shift right from fwd to rev..... rev works ok??? Dont know or see how brake fluid fluid would play in here!dont know what your saying with that?????
No codes or lights on dash.
No noise
At high rpm it acts like it wants to move.
Could it be a fluid problem?
Don't have any manual...maybe brake fluid?
Does dash show any code or blinking light? One possibility is the forward solenoid....either broken damaged wire or bad solenoid...or bad forward control switch couple possiblitities....or on the extreme end could be bad forward clutch pack in the transmission...make any noise or does it tey to move any when forward selected??? Would have to do PSI checks....easiest to check the solenoid and switch first.
