Does dash show any code or blinking light? One possibility is the forward solenoid....either broken damaged wire or bad solenoid...or bad forward control switch couple possiblitities....or on the extreme end could be bad forward clutch pack in the transmission...make any noise or does it tey to move any when forward selected??? Would have to do PSI checks....easiest to check the solenoid and switch first.
