Discussion:
Electric Stacker not charging

Was hoping to get some help on what I hope is an easy fix. Got this stacker about 2 weeks ago and ran and charged great. We used it yesterday and tried charging it and it suddenly wont charge. It just plugs in to a normal outlet and from what I've read the red light is supposed to blink, indicating its charging. Now when plugged in the red light stays solid and we cant get it to charge at all. Was working just fine prior to battery getting drained with use. Any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like the battery is still flat. Can you measure the voltage of the battery.
Have you checked the water level of the battery ( if its a lead acid battery ).
Water level should only be just above the plate level. no higher

When the charger is connected to the battery. The battery charger needs a voltage back to operate a relay to start the charge process. If the battery voltage is too low , the voltage back is too low to bring in the relay.
If the battery is a standard 24 volt just use a standard car/lorry 24 volt charger to bring the voltage up.15 minutes should do.Then reconnect its own battery charger and it should be ok

I just ran into a similar issue. Left ours on all night by accident and now when we try to charge it just shows the yellow fault light. Is there a fix for this?

Sounds like battery voltage may have drained low enough to not kick charger on. Do you know what the static voltage is?
