Not specifically, but many of the big UK forklift operators are retrenching. Only last month Britain's biggest forklift producer, Linde, made over 10% of its Basingstoke workforce redundant, and Briggs Equipment, the UK's exclusive Caterpillar dealer, is set to make a significant number of employees redundant by Christmas.
