HD Hyundai XiteSolutions has received its biggest order in Latin America to date for 230 electric forklifts, valued at more than KRW10 billion (USD6.8 million), from Venezuela’s largest food and beverage company, Empresas Polar.

The order is for 178 2T electric forklifts and 52 electric forklifts between 3T and 4.5T capacities, with all the machinery expected to be delivered in January 2026, HD Hyundai XiteSolutions says.

The company says it won the order after proposing customised products to suit the specific work environment, strategically timing the replacement of the customer's outdated diesel forklifts.

The South Korean manufacturer says it will participate in future equipment supply bids for Empresas Polar.

HD Hyundai XiteSolutions' says its materials handling equipment sales in Latin America have been growing steadily with sales this year reaching around 1,200 units, which is more than double the 570 it sold in 2020.

“We are diversifying our global portfolio by expanding our North America-centric sales structure into emerging markets,” a spokesperson for HD Hyundai XiteSolutions says.

“We will proactively respond to the demand for electrification in key emerging market countries by strengthening our sales, service, and training systems based on our local dealer network.”

Words of support …

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
