Hyster will soon if not already start to use maximal products for their Utilev Brand so how will this effect Hangcha. Hangcha have been building Utilev forklifts for some time and would have access to the Hyster Yale dealer network so what is stopping them approaching dealers directly to offer spare parts for trucks already in the market and also offering the their own products.
Hyster has also said they will produce a hydrogen fuel cell reachstacker. will this be the same type of white elephant like the container handling sideloader of the 1970's. The cost of a hydrogen reachstacker or container handling forklift would be in the high end of the hundreds of thousands of dollars and the running cost would be something like 31 dollars per hour to run just on fuel with a multi million dollar refueling system needed as well. a diesel reachstacker would cost around half the cost of a hydrogen one and would cost around 16 dollars per hour to run.
An ammoina Hybrid reachstacker would be 100% zero emission and would cost around the same price as a diesel reachstacker and would cost around 5 dollars per hour to run and would not need a very expensive refueling system

Nobody knows anything about you, "your" company or "your project" isn't that why your here?
I don't need to know anything about your company I'm speaking with you on a forum you chose to start threads in. As John stated your own comments have been used against you, yet you neglect to acknowledge that. That is a fact. All the evidence is here for all to see.
One more thing you might want to read what the USA OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) says about ammonia. While it is not common for things being transported over the road via tractor (trailer or tanker) to overturn they do happen- mostly around refineries & chemical plant - lived in Houston, Pasadena and been thru Beaumont, TX many times ( recall the free way shutdown when it happened) Don't think I'd want any thing like this to tip over in my neighborhood who would - raise their hand.

As to your ever moving launch date. I quoted directly from the source. You. But you fail to acknowledge your own statements.
Sounds similar actions of an Artful Dodger as defined by the Urban Dictionary vs Dickens character in Oliver Twist.
you are quoting from a website that's has not been in use for a couple of years. If you knew anything about our company or our project you would at least know our website
Right here live and direct.
All I have to go on is your misspelled sentences. You dig your own hole.
Technology has improved greatly over the last number of years and with these technology advances we have been able to improve a number of things. Like i said there are Millions upon Millions of tons of ammonia transported and used safely every year
what we are able to do is use some of these millions of tons of ammonia to run forklifts at 100% ZERO EMISSION with 20 hour range and 10 min refueling
Then why did the discontinue the ammonia refrigerators that worked with a flame instead of a compressor. Had no moving parts and had triple the lifespan of a compressor driven fridge.
Wow there are tens if not hundreds of millions of tons of ammonia shipped by road, rail, sea and even in pipelines every year. This so dangerous gas must kill tens of thousands of people every year.
Well just a point the Backbird plane is powered by ammonia and it will fly over California as well as the rest of the USA so yes ammonia will really fly in all the USA.
There will be enough interest from good dealers. No dealer will want to be behind when their customers want a 100% zero emission truck with up to 20 hour range and 10 min refuel time. As well as all the other benefits our truck can offer. as against LPG that will be only 65% Zero emission and battery powered trucks that will have only a six hour range maximum and at least a three hour charge time. Or Hydrogen that need a multi million dollar refueling system and cost four time more to run and twice as much to purchase
Stam you are years behind at least get the right website
Back in 2013 he should have said coming 2022 2023 not coming 2014.
With a history logged on here of unkept promises I bet it will be hard to find to find good distributors.
Just recalled something that might be used to power this lift. Baking soda and water. When I was a youngster I remember seeing this mixture power a submarine both up & down longitudinally - no emissions And would also power frog man up to the surface without any effort.
Here are the by products of combining these two.
Baking soda added to water raises the temperature slightly.
Chemical reactions are either endothermic or exothermic.... Baking soda is NaHCO3 and water is H2O. Added together you get NaOH and H2CO3 which are sodium hydroxide and carbonic acid. Carbonic acid is the fizz in soda.
And all this happened right in my bath tub while taking my Saturday night bath getting ready to go to church the next morning. Think I had to send 50 cents & a cereal box top to get the submarine and the same for the frog man. Oh did my imagination go wild with those toys.
I don't think lpg is deadly on inhalation unless you breathe enough to displace oxygen. Ammonia on the other hand....
It won't fly in California and probably not in the rest of the U.S. either.
Ammonia was used to create blueprints. In my first job after college I work very close to the blueprint room and one day a rather large & full plastic cylinder of ammonia fell over and fumes were everywhere (like one of those vaping pipes).. Of course, every one got out but some people had respiratory issues. Below is what ammonia fumes can do when inhaled. This sounds serious to me.
Inhalation: Ammonia is irritating and corrosive. Exposure to high concentrations of ammonia in air causes immediate burning of the nose, throat and respiratory tract. This can cause bronchiolar and alveolar edema, and airway destruction resulting in respiratory distress or failure.
FYI, my Father was gassed during WWI during the Meusse -
Argonne campaign. The effects of this did not show up until latter in life. That gas was very caustic too.
well lifter01 how **** deadly is ammonia, compared to everything else. after the second world war Belgium ran buses on ammonia with no fatalities or injuries to any one.
You could say the 700 volt system Hyster plan to use of their hydrogen reachstacker is **** deadly or Evan the hydrogen is **** deadly.
electric is **** deadly how many people are killed each year from electric shocks.
what about petrol or diesel fumes from these could be deadly.
Both lead acid and lithium iron batteries could be deadly
So really you can say anything is deadly if the right precautions are not taken.
The system is a hybrid system using nickel zinc batteries
Amonnia isn't dangerous exalt is **** deadly, one of the reason a lot of freezer/chiller manufacturers are moving to co2 from ammonia is for that reason alone. I thought you said earlier you were going to use zinc batteries because that was the future?? Now it's ammonia make your mind up pal. By the way it's now April you didnt state in an earlier post that as well as using zinc batteries your truck would be shown to the public in April 2019?? has it got a Klingon cloaking device fitted to it?? If so that would make it a truly awesome machine.
well any fuel can be dangerous if not handle correctly. Yes you got it correct 10,000kg lift capacity 610mm load center service weight 13,600kg
Let me get this right, A 10,000 kg capacity unit that weighs only 13,600 KGS? If memory serves me correct ammonia is some really nasty stuff in the hands of unqualified people. And no I do not work for hyster/ yale. If anybody has a crack that needs papered over its you. Transporter beam anyone?
Here is what you posted on Nov. 5, 2018
".... i said the Truck will be shown in Dubai in early 2019 "
you repeated statement, in a similar manner several times between Oct & Nov.
Some where in your many posts you clearly mentioned a showing in April, 2019 as I and others picked up on that time frame in our responses to you - we all couldn't be wrong. Don't really recall that a given date stated of April 1 for announcing just the fuel component until today but an announcement of the whole enchilada.
Your today's post seems to strongly suggest your are now "crawfishing". A crawfish is also known as a mud bug in some parts of the US.
well John what we said is that on today we will tell you what the truck runs on. in fact we did some time ago to be ahead. the official launch will be at one of the trade shows latter in the year.
@exhalt For the record have been retired since 2007. Never spent one day or even a half of day working directly and/or as a consultant for/to Hyster/Yale, Nacco or what ever they are called now. But I did and do know people that worked for Hyster/NACCO. Guarantee you we don't talk about zero emission anythings. Did work for the following lift truck companies 1. Allis Chalmers - my first 14 years in the lift truck ball game right out of college - did know the late Sir Neville Bowman Shaw - the self proclaimed side loader king in the UK - aka Neville the Devil and his younger brother Trevor 2. KD Manitou for 2.5 years 3. Mitsubishi in Houston, TX - 12+ years 4. Komatsu Forklfit - Covington, GA - 5+ years 5. Before retirement I worked for an independent Clark dealers for 5 years. You can take the above info to the bank but..............your first ASSUMPTIONS in the first sentence are definitely off base. Because of this, I didn't read past the first sentence of your rather l rant as you don't even believe what your wrote. See in your very first sentence you started out saying WE (you and that mouse in your pocket I guess) ESTABLISHED (have found solid/strong evidence to back up your Scientific Wild *** Guess or SWAG for short), then when you expanded on your second finding by using the word PROBABLY (which means "maybe yes, maybe no" or is solid information equivalent to "trying to eat a soup sandwich" or it is just "wishee washee"). Sorry bucko PS: Just noticed thsi statement in your earlier thread. "We are planning to launch the truck at one of the shows latter this year." Does this mean your previous announcement of an April launch is off?? Sounds like Wimpy of the Popeye comic strip to me when he would say "I'll gladly pay you on Tuesday for a hamburger today" (Tuesday never came for Wimpy)
