Hi, Mr.Hanck C
I do agree your idea:Some time the clients not see the price.
Usually, we consider on the quality. If you pay much money to maintance for cheapest products, it is not good choose.
: )
It is my personal opinion.
Here in the philippines most of the companies are very particular with the price, if they can have a cheap price to come with a good quality forklift they will definitely go for it. and that is where mitsubishi comes into the picture, Aside from its advance features like the (IPS) Integrated Presence System. it also comes with a very good price. and also the availability of its spare parts.. the longer maintenance period compared to other brand..
hi,joei, are your company a maufacturer of forklift or dealer?
Hi Joei;
Smart sales people always discuss the commercial issues at the end, smart buyers always discuss the price first.
Price is not always the factor people make decision on.
while working on comparison, we take into consideration; basic specs, productivity, product reliability, operating cost, brand image, resale value, added value for options (i.e. SAS/OPS) etc.

Here in my country toyota has exlusive dealership, distributor for a brandnew unit, and just recently they launched their 8 series, their answer on mitsubishi's GRENDIA SERIES. But you still have a problem selling toyota forkllifts? maybe its your after sales service, including the lenght of your warranty. Cause mitsubishi offers an extended warranty of up to 3 years, mind you that's a lot, and it also comes with a cheaper price as compared to your brand, I think its just a matter of combinsing your client, both mitsubishi and toyota are good forklifts.
Toyota, the only brand that is sold direct without dealers seems to be out to get market share and offers any sort of deal and payment condition that closes a sale.
You mean ???
Joei,
The three Heli dealers in Argentina usually win the sales that are decided only by price.
The problem with the Heli trucks nowadays is that they use very few spare parts and that is where the money is.
Tailift is the other low priced truck. They seem to be OK. Toyota, the only brand that is sold direct without dealers seems to be out to get market share and offers any sort of deal and payment condition that closes a sale.
anybody cant asnwer my questions here ??
