Discussion:
Companies Flouting Health and Safety

"After working in the forklift industry for 30 years or so, it has always amazed me that all the companies that I have worked for all put Health and Safety in the forefront of company policy, yet fail to adhere to their own policies when it suits them.

I do have the Department of trade and industry looking into this but luckily for me the HSE were contacted by myself last week with the problem that I had as the cable was given to me then and sounded alarm bells ringing.
I doubt that I would make anything substantial out of any claim but look more at what the outcome will be that will protect the customer that is going to be using it!
I also have an email that was sent to the company head office voicing concerns about the current lack of H&S.

If what you say is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth then after the unfair dismissal case you will probably be a millionaire.
