Hyster has won a three-year contract to supply materials handling equipment and forklifts to General Motors (GM).

The contract, which includes a further two-year option, covers forklift installations in Brazil, Canada, China, Mexico and the USA, and other locations worldwide as required.

The value of the contract was not released.

GM has also extended its fleet management contract with Hyster to coincide with the term of the new contract. Hyster will coordinate the management, including parts, of more than 10,000 Hyster forklifts at 63 GM locations.
